Member Jan Huijgen in Holland sent these photographs of his splendid working model (1.5” scale) BB1 class ploughing engine.

[Fowler BB1 class engines 15146/15147 - AL 8508 & AL 8507 – were new to Beeby Brothers, Rempstone, Notts., in 1918 and worked together as Set 11]

Single Engine System

Kitson & Hewitson engine and tackle are the work of member Harry Williams.

At the 2011 Dorset Steam Fair, David Steel and wife Lynn provided two examples of a ‘Markie’ produced PE model based on an early Burrell - one completed and another in unfinished state – together with plough and water cart (actually the gas fuel for the engine.) These are available at £2800 for the engine and £750 for the plough
