Meet the Steamer ploughs, owned and operated by the Kearton family of Barnard Castle.
Aries & Libra. Built in 1919 by John Fowler. Hefty lasses at 20 tonnes each with an impressive 16hp’s under the lid!
Where a horse could plough an acre per day, these bad girls could turn 20. Revolutionary in their day.
