Michael Beeby 1937-2020

We are very sorry to tell you that Michael Beeby died on 21 December. He was 82.
Mike was SPC president from 2001-2004, a life member, and latterly vice president. He was honoured with the Steam Plough Cup twice, most recently in 2019.
The Beeby family will for ever be associated with steam cultivation in the north Midlands and the preservation of single cylinder engines. Mike was a gentle but highly knowledgeable man and was always ready to help today’s enthusiasts. He will be very much missed and we send condolences to his family.
