Steam Engine & Plough Models
Graham Hunt’s superb 4” scale model SC based on Fowler number 2623 “Papworth” built in 1875. Graham made all the patterns for castings.
Member Jan Huijgen in Holland sent these photographs of his splendid working model (1.5” scale) BB1 class ploughing engine.
[Fowler BB1 class engines 15146/15147 – AL 8508 & AL 8507 – were new to Beeby Brothers, Rempstone, Notts., in 1918 and worked together as Set 11]

At the 2011 Dorset Steam Fair, David Steel and wife Lynn provided two examples of a ‘Markie’ produced PE model based on an early Burrell – one completed and another in unfinished state – together with plough and water cart (actually the gas fuel for the engine.)
These are available at £2800 for the engine and £750 for the plough
